Please tell us about your practice.
My name is Dr. Boaz Schwartz and my business is the Mt. Airy Medical Eye Center. We have been serving the Washington and Baltimore region for nearly twenty years. We're a bespoke practice with advanced training in specialty contact lenses and many of our patients are referrals.
Why did you choose Sandy Spring Bank?
We had an important real estate transaction that fell apart due to the agent we had at the time. As the deal was collapsing, we were referred to Sandy Spring Bank by a friend. We decided to take a chance and within just a few weeks, the deal was done and we had the land for our new office.

What has surprised you about working with us?
The due diligence regarding construction loans is amazing. The Bank’s construction management team are real pros, keeping their eyes on the contractors and ensuring that the project stays on schedule. It’s nice to see that the Bank really cares about our interests, I feel like I have an advocate in my corner.
How is that big project going?
We should be able to move in within just a couple of months. Working with the Bank made this new office possible. We’ll be in a much larger space, with more exam rooms and lots of opportunity to grow. It’s a very exciting time for us.
