Karen Trendler has more than 30 years’ of experience working in financial services and specializes in commercial loan and deposit relationships with medium and large companies, and nonprofit organizations. Using her extensive knowledge of commercial products and services, she is able to add value to customer relationships by delivering proactive strategic guidance, insights and leadership advice.
Trendler holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard University where she graduated magna cum laude from the School of Business. Her commitment to community involvement has included past board memberships on: The United Way of Central Maryland Howard County Partnership Board; the Chesapeake Chapter of the Risk Management Association; Linwood Center for Autism in Ellicott City, Maryland; Leadership Howard County; and the Howard County Chamber of Commerce. She currently serves as a commissioner on the Maryland Commission of Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Management Companies and Home Inspectors.
A long-term resident of Maryland, Trendler lives with her husband and teenage son in Columbia, Maryland with their labradoodle, Lexie. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, traveling with her family and exploring new cuisines with her friends.
