Small businesses are the lifeblood of the Greater Washington economy. Sandy Spring Bank is a leader in serving the needs of these businesses. That’s why the bank is partnering with the Washington Business Journal (WBJ) on some ongoing initiatives. The latest was a roundtable discussion to explore the challenges that small business leaders raised in The State of Small Business Survey, which was sponsored by the bank last year.
Peter Abrahams, publisher of the Washington Business Journal, moderated a discussion with several businesswomen to explore many of the issues raised in the survey, such as creative ways to attract and retain top talent, and strategies for integrating diversity and inclusion.
Highlights from the roundtable discussion were printed in the December 6 issue of the Washington Business Journal. The full survey report was printed in the April 26 of the Washington Business Journal.
