Coronavirus: Keeping You Informed

A Letter From Our CEO, Dan Schrider

Individuals, families and businesses everywhere are grappling with the ongoing global pandemic, and the reality of the situation recently hit close to home for us. One of our employees who works at our Layhill Branch has tested positive for COVID-19, the respiratory illness caused by the novel coronavirus. Our thoughts are with our colleague and their family and all those who are suffering. To respect our employee’s privacy, we cannot identify the individual; however, the last time this employee was in the Layhill Branch was on March 19.

In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines, we have asked all of the other employees at this branch to self-quarantine and to connect with their health care provider as needed. We also arranged for a thorough cleaning and sanitation of the branch to prepare for a reopening with a new team of branch personnel this Thursday, April 2, 2020.

While we hope this is an isolated incident, if this were to occur at any of our other locations, we will follow a similar course of action. Employees will be asked to self-quarantine, we will close the location for 72 hours, and we will notify clients who visited the location to the best of our ability.

We know that we provide an essential service, and we will continue to be accessible to help you with your banking needs.
