A proud Pittsburgh native and Virginia Tech alumni, Ian Thomas has lived in the Washington D.C. area for almost a decade, working in the financial services industry. He started his work as an analyst and worked through multiple roles before becoming a commercial lender in 2019. Thomas' background as an analyst provides him with knowledge across multiple industries including healthcare, government contracting, commercial real estate, manufacturing and more. Active in his community, he serves on the Board as Treasurer for Girls on the Run – Washington D.C., a nonprofit that provides services and support for underserved youth.
