Mike Pontikis has worked for Sandy Spring Bank for more than a decade, first in Community Banking and then as a Treasury Management Officer, his current area of practice. He has a demonstrated expertise in Commercial Banking, but his knowledge is more expansive. In 2023, he successfully completed the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management, a rigorous 3-year program covering all areas of bank management. A Virginia native, Pontikis is active in his local community most notably for Loudoun Habitat for Humanity for which he is immediate past-Treasurer and currently holds roles both as Secretary and Board Member.
